The Masonic Medical Research
Laboratory (MMRL) is a not-for-profit corporation founded by the
Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York. Supported by
bequests from the general public and volunteer contributions, the Laboratory
also obtains funding through foundation, corporate and Federal grants. The MMRL
is a state-of-the-art basic medical research facility that is engaged in
studies involving major health issues facing society today. Its mission is to
provide the building blocks of knowledge needed for the medical cures and
treatments of tomorrow and to educate and train future scientists.

The Masonic Home
The Masonic Home is situated on a beautiful 400-acre campus located in
scenic Central, NY. They offer short term rehabilitation, respite care,
palliative care, residential adult care, long term care, and retirement living.
The facility has been providing services to the community for over 100 years.

Brotherhood Fund
For over 50 plus years, the Masonic Brotherhood Fund
has supported the designated Charities of the Grand Lodge of the State of New
York

Shriners
Hospitals for Children is a network of pediatric specialty
hospitals, founded by the Shrine, where children under the age of 18 receive
excellent medical care absolutely free of charge. There are 18 orthopaedic
Shriners Hospitals, three Shriners Hospitals dedicated to treating children
with severe burns, and one Shriners Hospital that provides orthopaedic, burn
and spinal cord injury care. Shriners Hospitals are located throughout North
America 20 in the United States and one each in Mexico and Canada. These
"Centers of Excellence" serve as major referral centers for children
with complex orthopaedic and burn problems.

The 32° Masonic
Learning Centers for Children - The 32° Masonic Learning
Centers for Children program was established in 1994 to provide dyslexic
children with specialized tutoring to enable them to read and write more
effectively.
The Museum of Our National Heritage and
Library - The Museum of Our National Heritage and Library provides
Masons all over the jurisdiction with information on the history of our country
as well as the history of Masonic and other fraternal organizations.
Leon M. Abbott Scholarships - Leon M. Abbott Scholarships provide
financial support for the continuing education of young men and women from
Scottish Rite families and Masonic-related youth groups.
Schizophrenia Fellowships Schizophrenia Fellowships - These fellowships
have been supporting schizophrenia research at designated colleges and
universities since 1935 by providing fellowships for graduate students
interested in the mental health research field.

We provide support for Middletown scholastic scholarships, other local organizations such as the Boy Scouts, Food Pantries, Museums, Middletown Parks & Recreation Department and ROTC, and we send a child to camp each summer. |
