Most are men who go about their jobs and professions with no hint that
they are Freemasons except for the way they lead their lives. Many are
recognizable by name, face, or accomplishment. George Washington and thirteen
other Presidents, 18 of the 45 U.S. Vice Presidents (40%) and forty-two
Justices of the Supreme Court have been Masons. There are currently about 4
Million Masons worldwide.
Quite likely one of your neighbors is a Mason.
We are proud that our former Congressman the R:. W:.
Benjamin A. Gilman, a 33° Mason, is a member of Hoffman Lodge #412.
He was last elected to his 15th term in the U.S. House of Representatives on
Nov. 7, 2000.
